A bespoke café unit for a repeat hospitality client, located within one of Barcelona's most significant heritage buildings in the Eixample district. Working within a protected historic interior demanded sensitivity from the outset — V+D began with an in-house LiDAR scan to precisely capture the geometry of the space, before developing a design that sits quietly within its context. A restrained palette of white tile, warm timber, and considered lighting allows the architecture of the building to remain the dominant presence. The project was taken from survey to start on site in three weeks — a pace made possible by a fully integrated in-house workflow from scan through to fabrication drawings.
